About us

Like most modern couples, Sara and Andrew met online. They bypassed a lot of messaging that usually happens at the beginning and just opted to meet for dinner. Sara thought Andrew was cute. Andrew thought Sara was beautiful.

They chatted each other up over Chinese and French fusion cuisine. The scallion pancake cubes weren’t great but the chicken garlic noodles were amazing. Sara peppered Andrew with questions and Andrew could tell from speaking with Sara that they were both nerds. It was time to go, but Andrew pitched the idea of an impromptu karaoke session down the street at Wok and Roll (it’s a historical site where Lincoln’s assassination was planned). He sang alt rock from the early aughts and she sang BTS songs he’d never heard of. Though it was the latest she’d been out in a long time, it was the best first date either one had ever had and the rest was history!

Together they’ve explored DC, traveled to Asia and around the US, cooked many new recipes and have hosted many dinner parties. They can’t wait to celebrate with you all and spend the rest of their lives together!
